Starting in late October Adventure Painting took off from Seattle Washington in a thirty foot RV. Over the course of Thirty Days, five artists and their two hosts made their way South to Las Angeles.

The residency included the volcanic mountains of the Pacific Northwest, the redwood forests, wine country, San Francisco, Yosemite, Big Surr, and Hertz Castle.

Residents also stayed at the Monterey Art Museum where they exhibited painting and held a community painting session.

In January of 2020, 1969 Gallery exhibited the paintings in an exhibition called Adventure Painting.
