Shorter than the residency but just as fun.
A hot, dry summer in Southern California. During July 10 - 18, we painted in San Diego, Los Angeles and Joshua Tree National Park with some rough and tough artists.
Winter in Taos, NM 2021.
The Guild of Adventure Painters headed to New York from August 30 - September 12 to bring Adventure Painting to New York City. Working with the Armory Show, we put on a public art project. New York artists came out to capture the beauty of Astor Place in front of the public, while an exhibition in an Airstream RV showcased art by past attendees of Adventure Painting.
Southern California, CA 2021
A winter excursion in Taos New Mexico from January 13 - 29. Regional artists were invited to socially distance and paint outside. The gallery Valley Taos held an exhibition on the works made on January 29.
The Guild of Adventure Painters was hosted by the very beautiful and spooky Greenwood Cemetary, from September 21 - 25. We invited groups of painters to come out and hang. We held A View to Die For, a day of painting open to the community.
